I have found some more images on top of the ones I found the first day of class. My idea has not really changed in the last week since the first demo's. I am leaning towards the tying idea to be the reds and blues making the bead more valuable. I am having a hard time coming up with a way to display my work without using traditional means, ( I had thought to make earrings but am running out of ideas on how to put that part together without using commercial posts). Anyways. I am excited to continue to play with shapes and how the color changes when I form the glass. I would also like to play with different forms outside of the traditional sphere and cubes.
I really enjoy the image of the necklace that I found. In my own time I would love to play with that idea of mixing different bead styles in a complex arrangement.
What interests you beside the beads? What is it about color- the wealth? How are you going to bring those ideas to life. What are you interested in outside of class that you can bring to your glass work.
